After a year of winning international awards, The Big Father completed its run at the Panorama European Film Festival in Athens, which is one of the oldest and most prestigious festivals in Greece.
The Big Father competed in the International Competition Section against a number of top quality films from around the world.
The cast, crew and festival audience were excited to see the film on the big screen when it premiered on 3 December 2023 and it was well received by everyone.
The producers are now in the process of closing a distribution deal for the cinematic release of the film in Greece.

The Big Father is about a man struggling to save his house from re-possession and keep his family together. He's offered a way out by an opportunist Producer and corporation, who take advantage of his financial hardship by using him to sell their products. The man desperately embarks on a home-based film production, starring his family, that leads to progressively dark consequences.
